WELCOME NOTE

The aims of the Association are:
1) To promote Social Psychology in Cyprus
2) To promote awareness of the importance of social psychology for social issues in Cyprus.
3) To promote communication and cooperation between persons and organizations interested in social psychological research and the teaching of social psychology in local, regional, European and international level.
4) To promote dialogue around social psychological issues.
5) To enhance inter-group understanding, respect and cooperation.
6) To promote inter-group dialogue on local, regional, European and international level.

Means for the achievement of the above aims:
1) Organization of and participation to conferences, seminars, lectures and workshops on regional and international level.
2) Creation and publication of material in printed, electronic or other form.
3) Conduct and publication of research.
4) Exchanges of members with members of other similar organizations abroad.
5) Design and application of research programmes.
6) Establishment of sustainable membership in networks of communication with persons and organizations and offices on regional and international level.
7) Submission of recommendations in relation to policy makingMember of the Association can be any natural person who accepts the aims of the association and conforms with qualification requirements approved from time to time by the general assembly.
